- International Rescue Committee (IRC): Work in the Tucson community to help immigrant families! Multiple opportunities for each semester. Positions include: Immigration services, Family Support, Communications, Behavioral Health and Survivors of Torture Case Management, and many more. - Pre-Trial Services at the Arizona Superior Court: Interns will interview defendants, conduct background investigations and prepare reports. It is a valuable opportunity to work in a criminal justice setting and get hands on experience in the court. Must be a Junior or Senior, 18 years or older, no felonies and commit to 135 hours for one semester. Internships are available each semester! You will need a resume, letter of interest and a letter of recommendation. If interested contact Susan Lehman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Social Services Internship: If you are interested in social work and helping children and families, you can intern with the Department of Child Safety and participate in court hearings, family meetings and develop administrative skills. Khan Academy: Free LSAT test prep! LSAC recommends the program. I haven't looked at it yet, but there have been some good reviews.
