Aspirations: I will be joining the Teach for America Corps in Phoenix teaching high school English and then going to law school. :)

Favorite Aspect of Phi Alpha Delta: The interesting speakers we bring in and getting the chance to learn from their advice and personal journeys.

Aspirations: I hope to attend law school and pursue environmental law. My dream would be to work in this role in the fashion industry.

Favorite Aspects of Phi Alpha Delta: My favorite aspects of PAD are having a welcoming environment to explore the legal field! I love that I have created an amazing network for myself not only professionally, but also personally.

Aspirations: Currently, I am interested in HR and employment law. After graduating from the University of Arizona, I am looking forward to pursuing my educational development and pursuing law school.

Aspirations: I hope to attend law school and study healthcare law to combine my interests in law and medicine.

Favorite Aspects of Phi Alpha Delta: Meeting different members of the legal field who share their expertise and open us up to internship, volunteer, and public works opportunities.

Aspirations: After law school I want to work in the criminal field in Pima County as a public defender or the County Attorneys Office.

Favorite Aspect of PAD: My favorite aspect of PAD is that there is a community of people coming together to support each other in a common interest.

Favorite Aspect of PAD: I love meeting and learning from lawyers from all different fields. I feel much more prepared and knowledgeable about the legal profession as a result of PAD.

Aspirations: I aspire to be a public defender and use my position to advocate for restorative justice and equity.

Favorite Aspect of PAD: My favorite thing about Phi Alpha Delta is the community that we build. It is great to get to know individuals with similar career goals and interests and develop long lasting friendships as well as build professional skills to help us succeed.

Aspirations: My future goal is to become an attorney and then a judge. I have a lot of passion for criminal justice reform. I believe that the best way of creating change in our system is through our courts. Ultimately, I wish to have a seat as a Supreme Court Justice.

Fun Fact: ​I host a radio show through the KAMP student radio on campus. My first show was called The Basket ft. DJ Chicken and DJ Waffles that I co-hosted with my friend (I was DJ Chicken).

Nancy Stanley

Assistant Dean for Strategic Relations; Part time Professor of Practice

Nancy Stanley began teaching Jour 208 - Law of the Press in spring 2014. She is the assistant dean for advancement in the James E. Rogers College of Law at the UA.

Stanley spent nine years with KVOA-TV in Tucson, first as an assignment editor, then as community affairs director. She also has taught at Pima Community College and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.

Stanley has a B.A. in political science from the UA and a juris doctorate from Southern Illinois University. She also runs a training and consulting firm in Tucson

Keith Swisher

Professor of Legal Ethics; Director, BA in Law and Master of Legal Studies Programs.

Keith Swisher is Professor of Legal Ethics and Director of the Bachelor of Law and Master of Legal Studies Programs at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Prof. Swisher is an ethics expert, law professor, and former associate dean of legal scholarship and faculty development at Phoenix School of Law. He has taught legal ethics at the three Arizona law schools, serves as ethics counsel and expert witness to lawyers, law firms, and judges, and represents indigent defendants in the Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar's Ethics Committee, Fee Arbitration Committee, and the O'Connor Advisory Committee of the Quality Judges Initiative (IAALS/University of Denver). He also served on the Editorial Board of ABA/BNA Lawyers' Manual on Professional Conduct. In 2011, he received the ABA's Rosner & Rosner Young Lawyer Professionalism Award, and in 2016, he received the AJC's Learned Hand Emerging Leadership Award.

Previously, Prof. Swisher clerked for the Ninth Circuit (Canby, J.) and practiced at Osborn Maledon in Phoenix.
